Dial Direct Top-Up Insurance Policies

Dial Direct has a few additional products which can top up your main policies, these include the following:

Protection Plan

The Protection Plan provides cover in the event of death of yourself or member of your immediate family. Additional cover can be obtained for your parents, parents-in-law or domestic worker. Death by HIV and Aids is included and in the event of accidental death double the maximum compensation will be paid.

Personal Accident

Personal Accident will cover you and your family in respect of death, disablement or hospitalisation.

Expo-Sure

Expo-sure policy covers you and your family in the event of accidental exposure to HIV and Aids. This includes blood tests, medical consultations, appropriate treatment, assistance with the 72-hour window period and counselling and security improvements.

Cell Phone

Cell Phone Policy insures against accidental loss, theft, smash and grab, water damage and accidental damage.

Mechanical Breakdown

Mechanical Breakdown covers your car should it break down as a result of  mechanical or electrical failure. There are two options - lower cover for less premiums and higher cover for higher premiums. The cover is subject to your car falling into one of three categories, Category A- less than 5 years old or less than 120 000km, Category B less than 8 years old or less than 160 000 km and Category C less than 10 years or 200 000km.

Fix It

Fix It refers to cover of your vehicle for minor chips, dents and scratches incurred through everyday use. Scratches should be no more than 15cm in length, the same applies to dents and a chipped area no greater than 3mm in diameter.
